Dr. Isaac Poole, CIMA®
Global Chief Investment Officer, Portfolio Manager
Isaac is one of the leading voices on global capital market and investing strategy in Australia and Asia. Isaac regularly appears on international news platforms including Bloomberg, CNBC, BBC World News, ausbiz TV and Asia Times Financial. Isaac’s expertise is recognized with regular contributions to Australian and Asian investment seminars.
Isaac’s expertise comes from a career spanning central banking, risk management, asset allocation and investment consulting in major firms in Australia, the UK and Hong Kong, including Willis Towers Watson, NSW Treasury Corporation, Lloyds Banking Group and the Reserve Bank of Australia.
Isaac holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Sydney and is a Certified Investment Management Analyst certificant.
Shane Hawke
Head of Research and Advisory, Portfolio Manager
Shane has over 18 years’ experience in investment management roles covering a range of functions including investment research, portfolio construction, governance, asset allocation, risk management and communications. He has also spent over 5 years in financial planning roles.
Prior to joining Oreana, Shane worked as the Research Manager for NAB Wealth’s research team, ThreeSixty Research. In this role Shane’s primary responsibilities were managing the investment due diligence and portfolio construction of NAB Wealth Licensee’s Approved Products Lists and model portfolios, as well as the MLC Investment menus. ThreeSixty Research services were distributed to over 1,500 NAB aligned advisers as well as other relationships.
Prior to this role, Shane held Investment Specialist roles for MLC and Asteron as well as Research Manager for ING/RetireInvest.
Florence Savage
Investment Analyst
Florence joined Oreana in July 2020 as an Investment Analyst. She has responsibilities across the entire portfolio management process as well as supporting the economic and market research capability.
Before joining Oreana, she worked as a macroeconomic analyst focusing on Asian economies.
Florence holds a degree in Economics from the University of London and a Masters from City University of Hong Kong.
Louise Liu
Investment Analyst
Louise joined Oreana Financial Service in July 2019 as an Investment Analyst. She has responsibilities across the entire portfolio management process and economic and market research.
Prior to joining Oreana, Louise gained experience in finance, compliance and consulting industries as an intern. Her experiences helped develop an understanding of the financial advice process and risk and compliance across the business.
Louise holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Finance from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, with experience in computer programming. Louise has completed CFA Level 1.
